I’m Gervis, a creative, technologist and product leader based in Seattle. Over the past 15+ years, I’ve worked at the intersection of media, technology, and business, helping companies build and scale platform ecosystems through developer marketing and partnership development to drive strategic growth. My work is fueled by a deep passion for innovation within new mediums.

My academic background has shaped the way I think about technology, creativity, and human connection. As an undergraduate student studying Communications, Psychology and Sociology, and later as a graduate student pursuing master’s degrees in Media Management, Information Management, and Business Administration, I’ve continued to shift my understanding of leadership and business strategy while simultaneously playing a role in driving generational technology shifts like Connected TV, Mobile, and Artificial Intelligence.

This blend of education and experience allows me to approach challenges from multiple perspectives—combining technical expertise with business insight and a deep empathy for how people interact with emerging technology platforms.

I currently lead the Developer Relations & Experience team for the Azure Communication Services Product group at Microsoft, where we build AI-powered communication platforms designed to enhance and streamline digital interactions.

Throughout my career, I’ve led teams and initiatives that have shaped how companies engage with developers, partners, and customers. From global technology firms to high-growth startups, I’ve built programs that drive engagement, improve platform adoption, and contribute to business critical objectives. I’ve worked across Marketing, Developer Relations, Strategic Partnerships, and Product Management, always with a focus on delivering value to developers, customers, and businesses at large.

Beyond the numbers and metrics, I believe real impact comes from building strong communities, fostering collaboration, and championing creative problem-solving.
